We invite you to take advantage of this opportunity and move your MetaTrader account to the TradeLocker platform. However, before you do so, we want to ensure that you are aware of some important information if you choose to transfer your account from MetaTrader to TradeLocker.
What is TradeLocker?
It's a brand-new trading platform powered by TradingView and designed for lightning-fast performance with a slick, minimalist interface. Our team has put in the hard yards to make sure the transition is smooth as silk for you. Get ready for better performance and more tools and features to help you thrive in the markets with TradeLocker.
Trade Parameters
When you migrate your account, all your trade parameters, including prices, pairs, account types, commission fees, and spreads, will stay exactly the same. That means your trades will not be impacted one bit. Trust us to keep your trades running smoothly.
Helpful Information You Need to Know
In regards to the Swap Fees on MetaTrader and TradeLocker, the fees are the same amount, but the way they are charged and credited is different. On MetaTrader, you only get charged or credited swap fees to your balance when you close a trade, while on TradeLocker, swap fees are charged/credited to your balance right away.
So, when you migrate your account from MetaTrader to TradeLocker, any pending swap fees will be charged or credited to your balance immediately.
Just keep in mind that this will only happen during the initial migration. After that, swap fees will be applied daily at the end of business server time for the instrument you are trading with.
EA and Third-Party BOTs
Currently, TradeLocker does not allow the use of EAs or any other bots, so if you migrate your account, you won't be able to use any bots you are currently using on MetaTrader.
However, you can expect this feature to be available in TradeLocker in the near future. Stay tuned for updates, and keep on trading with TradeLocker.
How to Migrate to TradeLocker
1. Go to the side menu and select the "My Accounts" tab.
2. Choose the account you want to migrate and click on the "Migrate" button.
*Please be aware that you will not be able to migrate accounts without active trades, no funds, or negative balances. If you try to migrate an account that is in one of these states, it will be automatically archived.
3. A pop-up message will show up. You will see the status of the migration and the following information:
You will have a few seconds to cancel the migration before the loading time ends. All you must do is click on the "Cancel Migration" button.
4. Once you select the migration option, you will receive an email with your login information and a link to access TradeLocker.
