A "Default Offer" is automatically created by the system after a Fund Account is created.
This Offer is void and free of any fixed costs. If not changed, this offer will remain open to the public and investors could still participate.
As a Money Manager, it is your duty to instantly modify or create a new Default Offer.
To stop Investors from joining, make sure to set the Default Offer to private when creating a new offer.
Kindly note that once an Investor has Joined an offer, there is no way to change the offer for this investor, however, a Money Manager can amend the offer for future investors.
If an investor has joined your Default Offer, you have the following options:
- In order to stop further Investors from participating, set the Offer to Private (This will not remove the Investor which has joined).
- Create a new Fund.
